Vahana is a holistic wellness gym in Rockport, Australia.

Owners Jenny Stokes and Meera Sikander met at the University of Queensland whilst studying Sports Science and Psychology. They have remained friends and have always had the dream to start a joint venture where they combine their skill sets to provide a holistic fitness program for body and mind. They have found a gap in the market and want to create a gym which focuses equally on a healthy mind as well as a healthy body.

The concept for Vahana is inspired by the bull, Rockport’s Mascot, but also Nandi, the Vahana, or vehicle of the Hindu god Shiva. In eastern traditions, the bull is a symbol of grounded, steady presence and physical strength.
